Education Sessions
I have spoken at a number of menopause education sessions in a variety of contexts, including local businesses, GP surgeries, school staff training, women’s sports clubs, and workplace wellbeing sessions. I have also presented to a men’s group who wanted to be better able to support their menopausal partners, friends and colleagues.
I also deliver training on menopause care to healthcare professionals.
I prefer to speak in person but have been involved in webinars too, and can run presentation or Q&A sessions, or a mixture of the two.

Topics that I cover:
- What are the menopause and perimenopause?
- Potential symptoms
- Lifestyle and wellbeing advice to help
- HRT (hormone replacement therapy)
- Non-hormonal options
- Vulval, vaginal and pelvic health
- How to support someone through the menopause
- Useful resources
The content of a session can be tailor-made to suit your audience and the time allowed. Education sessions are usually one to two hours, including time for general questions.
I can also cover other aspects of women’s health such as contraception, cervical smear tests and breast screening.
I love talking about women’s health and menopause and am keen to get as many people as possible talking about it with me! I will happily discuss different session formats or new topics to cover.
